Overview
qrnoa.com is operated by 9th Avenue. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. We collect as little as possible, never sell your data, and use only cookieless analytics so you never see a consent banner.
Data we collect
QR content — the URLs and text you encode into QR codes are processed entirely in your browser. They never touch our servers. We cannot see what you encode.
Page analytics — we DO track visits via Ninelytics (cookieless). What it captures: page URL, referrer, country, device type, browser. Per-visit, aggregated. See the next section for how visitor IDs work without cookies.
Cookieless tracking — how it works
We are honest: yes, we track page visits. No, we do not use cookies or localStorage to do it. Ninelytics identifies visitors without persistent identifiers — compliant with GDPR/CCPA out of the box, no consent banner required.
When you visit the site, the visitor ID is derived server-side from a daily-rotating hash of your IP, user agent, and the site ID. No personal identifier is stored, and the hash rotates every day at 00:00 UTC — making long-term profiling impossible.
- Same-day session continuity (an hour of browsing shows as one session)
- Across-day continuity is intentionally lost (privacy guarantee)
- Captures 100% of visits — no data lost to consent rejections
Cookies and storage
We do not use any cookies. We store one item in
localStorage:
your theme preference (qrnoa-theme →
"dark" or
"light"). That is all.
How we use it
- To understand which pages and features are useful
- To prioritize what to build next
- To detect outages and performance regressions
We do not use your data for advertising. We do not sell it. We do not share it with anyone except the infrastructure providers below.
Your rights
- Because there are no persistent identifiers, there is no per-visitor data to export or delete
- You can block our analytics with any ad blocker; the site still works
- Email info@9thavenue.dev with any privacy question
